With writing comes the power to transform how others look at a work. The ability to play with words allows me to shape understanding, fuel ideas and debate. For the Residency I saw my role as a chronicler, a sounding board for thoughts, whittling away at the conversations to shape a cohesive text that would best represent or describe their work. It was an exercise in listening, exploring and capturing their individual essence’s in the writings.
